As a Senior Test Automation Engineer (f/m/d) in the Greater Munich Area, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our fast-paced development cycle never compromises on quality.

You’ll take the lead in shaping and advancing our test automation infrastructure, collaborating with engineers, product managers, and QA colleagues to embed automated testing into every layer of our development process. From hands-on test development to defining quality strategy, your impact will be felt across the product.

This is a highly collaborative role for someone who’s passionate about clean code, smart automation, and continuous improvement — all within a product-driven environment that values speed, design thinking, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Continuously improve, design, implement, and maintain our automated test framework across frontend and backend components
Drive test automation in our CI/CD pipeline and ensure early bug detection with shift-left testing
Be an active member of our Scrum team and help define test coverage that ensures confidence in the functionality and quality of our product
Improve test observability, stability, and performance over time
Actively shape and scale our test practices — bring your ideas, experiment, and help us grow

Qualifications

You have 5+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on end-to-end testing - ideally using tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar
You’re skilled at building API-level E2E tests that verify request/response behavior, data integrity, and system interactions
You’re familiar with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into the development workflow
You can see yourself working with supporting technologies like GitHub Actions and container orchestration — it’s all part of our stack
You have a mindset focused on test reliability and speed - you write tests that give fast, meaningful feedback
Your English skills are excellent (written and verbal), and a good level of German is a bonus
Bonus: You have solid experience in performance/load testing
Bonus: You’ve previously worked in SaaS, B2B or software product contexts
